On January 1, 2005, Sara Bongiorni's family embarked on a yearlong boycott of Chinese products. They wanted to see for themselves what it would take, in will power and creativity, to live without the world's fastest growing economy—and whether it could be done at all.
a quick read, and more a this-is-what-happened documentation than anything else, but it was informative nonetheless. I always think to myself that it must be impossible to live like that for a whole year, and it's interesting to actually read about the day-to-day details of it.
